Where This Started

In 2020, I lost my son's father to a murder that changed everything about how I moved through the world. There's no clean way to say that, and I'm not going to try to make it sound smaller than it was.

What I can tell you is what happened after.

I needed to heal, and I didn't know how. So I started learning — about herbs, about essential oils, about the small physical rituals that help a body and mind survive something that big. That learning became my healing journey, and somewhere along the way, it became my purpose. I wanted to make things that could help other people carry their own healing, the way mine had been carried by what I was learning.

Candles were the last thing I added — almost an afterthought. I didn't expect them to change my direction the way they did.

From Herbs to Candles

I came into candlemaking already deep in pure essential oils and herbal work. Learning how to actually make a candle safely — the chemistry of it, the wax, the wick, what's stable and what isn't — took me somewhere I didn't expect: away from pure essential oils alone, and into clean fragrance oils used alongside essential oils, blended with intention.

That wasn't a compromise. It was me learning to do this the right way, from people who actually understand the science of what happens when you burn something in your home.

What's In Our Candles

We're proud of what goes into every candle we make — the wax, the wick, the fragrance oils, even the sealant on our concrete vessels. We care about it too much to summarize it in a line or two here.

We're not here to scare you about what's in other candles. We're here because I know what it's like to need something that helps you actually heal, and to want to know exactly what you're bringing into your home while you do it.
