There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching an idea come to life.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been sharing the process of creating my handmade pumpkin vessel—from mixing Hydrostone and experimenting with colors to sealing each piece by hand. Every step brought me closer to the vision I had in mind, but one important piece was still missing.

This week, it finally became a candle.

More Than Just Pouring Wax

Pouring the candle may seem like the final step, but it's actually the result of everything that came before it.

Before I could even think about melting wax, each pumpkin had to cure properly. Then it needed to be sealed so it would be ready to safely hold a candle. There was a lot of waiting involved, but every step was necessary to create a vessel I could feel proud of.

As tempting as it was to rush ahead, I had to trust the process.

Watching My Vision Come to Life

The moment I poured the wax into my handmade pumpkin was one I'll never forget.

After weeks of creating, testing, waiting, and refining, seeing the vessel finally filled with wax made everything feel real. What started as raw materials had transformed into a handmade fall candle, created completely from scratch!

It was one of those moments that reminds you why you started in the first place.

Every Detail Matters

One thing I've learned throughout this journey is that handmade products can't be rushed.

Every color test taught me something. Every adjustment helped improve the next pumpkin. Even the waiting periods became part of creating something that I'd feel confident sharing with others.

Those details may not always be visible in the finished candle, but they're part of the story behind every piece.

The Journey Isn't Over Yet

Even though my pumpkin has officially become a candle, there are still important steps ahead.

Next comes curing the candle, followed by burn testing to make sure it performs exactly the way I want it to. I'm also excited to start sharing more about the fragrances I've chosen for this collection and how each scent complements the handmade pumpkins.

This process has reminded me that creating a handmade collection is about so much more than the finished product. It's about patience, learning, and enjoying every stage along the way.
